It's like nobody really knows,there's just a bit of talk. I live 5 min. away and still can't find out anything concrete, to say the least. I put together a car to race there and I know of many other people doing the same.Ya know, supporting LOCAL machine shops, body shops, auto parts stores to name a few. Also, I feel having the track open will INCREASE the property value of the houses out this way. Those few sad people against it are just malcontents, and just need somthing to bitch about , will never be happy in life.

I was at the car show last year and they said April 15th. But i have heard now later because of weather and needing to get everything done .I know what you mean no answer yet. Hopefully some answers with the warm weather maybe BADBLACKZ has some good news!!!!!

OK, I talked to Candie Pranshka today (Dans wife) and this is what I know...........
There should be no more dealing with the Ingham Co. court HOWEVER due to amendements with the special use permit everything has to go back through the township planning commision.
I can only hope and speculate this being just "formalities", but as you all know nothing is ever carved in stone untill it is carved in stone.....

any racing going to happen this year? my dad and uncle used to race at this track and it would be really cool to get them together and bring them to an event.

So will there be anything happening with the track this year? Need any help? My kid lives in Bunker Hill and I want to bring my mustang down.

was just wondering what was up with the track? live in lapeer spent alot of time in jackson working at elm plating .drove up and down 127 a whole bunch of times and often wondered where the track was .had always heard about it from a buddy of mine that used to race there back in the 70 's.always wanted to take a road trip and check it out but just cant find the time to do it.usually race at ubly ,northern mi. norwalk ,columbus,mid mich.but would definetly go to onondaga to check it out.  Rich

when kan we race my uncle use to race here and parents were all the time to watch and would like to be part of the history with my kar all air cooled all the time
