this my new ride im working on its gonna be sweet,have 436 sbc waiting to be installed,made 635 hp on the dyno and 680 ft.lbs of tq,but as of now shes all tore apart.

I would like to know more about your 436 combo....

Was the 680 ft. lbs. a misprint ?

Just wondering, my 427 s.b. made more h.p. but a lot less torque....

Ya, I think the OP is mistaken...

no its not a miss print made 420 ft lbs of torque at 2,000 rpms,love that team g intake has great low end power and makes maximum tq at 4200 rpms.probably the only reason ur making more horsepower is im only running a 200cc head that i ported for torque,and only a 2.02 valve wich will help for torque also.only has a little pocket porting didnt want to open the heads up anymore i built this engine for torque,love the wheelies,i also have custom made cam its a solid rollerlift is .630 with 1.6 rockers.its an isky cam made on small base circle,im only running 9.5:1 compression with custom made mahel pistons,and kryptonite rods.my crank is eagle lightweight forged,with one piece pushrods.isky roller lifters.mls headgasket u name it its got it,took me over two years to build this engine the way i wanted it.not many 436 chevys out there yet but ur starting to see more and more there awesome.sorry bad blackz it took so long to reply my dad has been battling cancer and have been taking care of him,didnt get the chance to log back in till now.

heres a picture of my mean 436.wanna thank my freind jhon wich is the badest sprint car racer in the nation for helping me build this monster.way more power than i will ever need,but just for kicks u could see a twin turbo attched to it soon.hmmmmm now that would be fun at the dragstrip with my 3800 stall converter.

i also ordered all new paint for my car its gonna be sprayed bright cobalt blue metallic,its also getting a ground up restoration,my new radiator core bushings came in,now just gotta find a good radiator core mines shot,hope to be at the dragstrip soon but probably wont be this year maybe next.

good thing is nobody will ever know that this isnt a 350 only has 2 freeze plugs and is all internally balanced,love that,can have some fun with it.

heres some of the pieces i took off the front shes gonna need alot of work,im never gonna make it to the track this year,that makes me sad but good things must wait,i wanna make sure i do it right the first time,plus money is a small isuue too but im trying to save enough.i also have a new painless wiring kit i need to install.my plan is to make this a prostreet build,with a 4 link in the back and a 9 inch rearend.
