so i got the th350 trans that came in my chevelle when i got it. but i also have a saginaw 4sp. i'm wondering which to put in.
the car: 1970 malibu sport. it was origanlly a manual trans car, so it still has the pedals, i just have to get the z bar for it. and a mild bbc 468 is going in it.
the last owner put in a th350 that i already removed, so i can work on taking the body off. so i could keep that setup or put a 4sp trans in. the 4sp would a lot more fun behind that big block.
i know the saginaw trans are pretty weak, what do you guys think?

Those trans' used to break in stock 4 cyl. Vegas if that tells you anything.....
I'm all for the manual of course, just find a Super T-10 or M-22 if money is tight.....
